First flight down.....

On my new new Phantom 2. This is my third one. I was going to get a 550 but decided to stick with the P2. Flew smooth as silk and went thru two batteries. I got 25minutes out of each. Over the weekend I'll install the FPV and iOSD. The 3D gimbal is still in the box, I took it out to look at it but thats about it. I haven't even checked the what software it has. I purchased it from Heli Direct in MA. Very easy to order from, I normally buy from B&H but they were talking 3-4 weeks, they are also closed next week.

I purchased the new DJI Hub so I hope the install will go smooth

First one flew away in state game lands never to be seen again. I never figure out what happen. One minute it was hovering 50ft above me the next minute it was full speed ahead at a 45 degree angle. The second one was P2 with 2D gimbal…….bought by my wife a few weeks. I was all set to buy a F550 with the new gimbal. Saw DJI was coming out with the 3D gimbal so I sold the P2 with 2D and got the "New" P2 with 3D gimbal. Hopefully that will be the last for a while
