Firmware V01.04.0602 and Litchi

Hi All,

Yesterday when I was reading threads on the new firmware V01.04.0602 there were comments about 30/50 meter flying restriction if not connected to the DJI Go 4 application. Based on this comment, I became concerned about the implications of this warning with respect to Litchi. I have messaged Litchi through Facebook and received the following response:

With the current versions of Litchi (iOS 1.16.12 and Android 3.10.10), if you update to the latest DJI firmware for Mavic Pro (01.03.0800, Phantom 4 Pro (01.04.0602) or Phantom 4 Advanced (01.00.0128) you will be required to log in in DJI Go to unlock the new altitude and distance limitations both for DJI Go and Litchi. The upcoming Litchi versions will automatically unlock the restrictions without having to log in in DJI Go except if you fly in China (in which case log in with DJI Go will still be required but can be done within Litchi).

Just received a new eMail from Litchi. They are reporting they hope to release a new version this month that will eliminate the need to first log into DJI Go 4.

I don't know. But my guess would be every time that you want to fly.
