here is my log on the sd card .... uav keeps beeping flashing red and green

Delete history success.

Result: Abort.
The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the aircraft.

Seems like your firmware is already up to date. Delete the .bin file from the sd card, and reboot the bird.

This might be a dumb question, but why is the date off by 2 years? Perhaps the upgrades are date sensitive?

The first several entries are from May of 2016 and they are just telling you that you've already upgraded. Then the date changes to January 1st of 2014 and you get the "remo-con disconnect" on all of those.

Just sayin.

I noticed that also. The 2014 dates show a version 1.9xxx, which is newer than the 1.8xxx the bird is seeing in the card. Have you removed the .bin from the card, and rebooted the bird? As long as that file is on the card, the Phantom will keep trying to process it. After a clean boot, the GO App should show what version is currently loaded. BTW, 1.9.6 is out now.

can you please go to MISC folder and LOG folder on your microSD card and in there is a txt file and please copy/paste last about 30 lines of that file here.

no folder on the sd card, just the bin file and dcim folder which is empty

the bin file i have was downloaded today at 1100 hrs

I'm still baffled by the date! even this last post says May 19, 2016. As far as the computer is concerned, it's downloading a file from the future. Is the date on your computer not set to today's date? Might not have any effect on the outcome, but stranger things have happened!

there is a MISC folder there, it is hidden. go to view options and check "Show hidden files..."

your ODFM (receiver - white box under the phantom) is faulty or something on your mainboard inside the phantom is disconnected.
is this a new Phantom, used, purchased used,... ?

had this unit a year ... never had a problem like this ... I fly LEO, 3 PHantom 2s, S900, Phantom 4 ... one Phantom 3 shot down, this is Phantom 3 number 2

Mine will do that annoying beeping sometimes too. I think it's when the phantom has tried to upgrade and was interrupted. I just let it beep and after about 10 minutes it will stop beeping and complete the upgrade. At least that's been my experience.
