Have not updated firmware in awhile. Everything seemed to be going fine and then light went solid red and resulted in one long continuous beep. Turned off and back on and it went straight to red light and long beep. Anything else I can do or is it bricked?

Those are actually the instructions I was following. I actually have two Phantoms. The first one went off without a hitch. The second one is the one that messed up. I tried starting over from scratch and now when it starts up it flashes green and beeps a few times and then the status light starts flashing a continuous red with no beeping. The rear lights flash yellow and the front lights stay solid red.

What's in the TXT file?

Check the hidden log file on your memory card. It might contain more helpful details.

Time for plan B then. Check out the hidden log file.

What sucks the most is it's practically brand new. I bought it after my other one crashed. I was able to repair the first one and have been keeping the new one in its box. Just took it out to day to upgrade the firmware and BOOM!!!

If you give it another try, please post the contents of both log files.
