firmware up dates

Got my P3 in early august and love it . Just wondering how often new firmware comes out?

I do not think there is any set schedule. Just when needed.

More often than you can believe.

This is my second go around, though, so my advice is unless something is not working, or you want the added features, stay where you are. Wait for news about update gets off the first page of the Forum.

Thanks for response and advice. This is a good site to share experiences.glad I found it. 1 more ? for ya, if the app says u need firmware upgrade I would think u should. No?

Good advice. Always wait before updating right away. Many times there are glitches and best to let them be worked out before updating firmware.

thanks for advice. My only concern would be to fly it with out latest firmware !

If it flies fine with current firmware and there are no known flight problems with the current firmware then it should be fine. Many times the firmware updates just add features and not mess with flight characteristics.
