P3 Firmware Firmware Information

Hi to all,

I bought a phantom 3 advanced, currently I have a Firmware 1.5.30+ to upgrade it to the new one that has firmware v1.9.60)
I first have to update it with firmware v1.8.80 and then the Firmware v1.9.60?
Instead for Remote control I have the firmware 1.6.0 I leave this?

if its working good why upgrade firmware and yes rc firmware is different
