Needed a road trip so I took the bird along and planned on stopping in Jacksonville.
UAV-outlets is opening a small store so people can come to them in person now.
Don't expect much as their shelf space is extremely limited.
I told the tech what I needed done and an hour after he started on it, it was working.
He said DJI shut off the firmware all together on some units shipped around Christmas which is when I got mine.
Which explains why I was getting nowhere.
Once the firmware was properly installed, all the lights are green.
The app on the ipad now sees the main controller.
So tomorrow maybe I['ll be able to get my first true auto flight in the bag.
