Filters and ISO

I know there is a photography section on here but wanted to keep this P3S camera related.

When I am using a ND filter do I need to make manual adjustments or will the camera do a pretty good job automatically lowering ISO and other settings?

Any tips would be super helpful, having a hard time understanding the basics [emoji111]️

Adding a ND filter won't 'lower' the ISO but it will try to compensate for the fact it's there by adjusting the frame rate and shutter speed. The P3S has a fixed aperture so any exposure adjustment has to be done via changing the ISO or the shutter speed.......ISO may go up.......
