How do you go about balancing the props on the FC40? Or is it unnecessary? I'm getting a lot of jello on my videos and yeah I could just use a gimbal but I'm not at that level yet.

i just posted how to make and use a prop balancer for the fc40 props. The self tightening props are cool but I have not seen any stock balancer that comes with the correct hardware to balance these props. So we need to find a rod, threaded in 2 directions, to balance the props. Or take a look at my solution. I think i solved the problem. Please see my post 9/27/14

From what I've found is that the only place to get the counter-clockwise rods are from some fellow that machines them in England. Or from this fellow: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2048016
NOTE: He shows many pics of his newborn baby on the site. Happy Papa I guess...

Amazon shows one as well, but you'll have to be careful about the rod not being warped from ANY of these people that supply them. Which will cause you even more headaches from getting false readings on the balancing.
