Has anyone used the Boscam 920 Goggles with a FC40 OR Phanto with GoPro ?

As the Boscam 920 can operate with selectable 5.8 OR 2.4Ghz has anyone used these with the FC40 or GoPro camera? If so how to setup? Is something else required?

It's not possible with just the FC-40 camera or a GoPro. These broadcast WiFi access points and although on 2.4GHz they're not the kind of signal which the Boscam goggles can receive. The Boscam goggles receive video signals on the 2.4GHz band but not WiFi network protocol. You would need to have your GoPro connected to a video transmitter on your Phantom which would transmit to your goggles set to the same channel (frequency). Your FC-40 camera can't be used with a video transmitter as it has no physical video output to plug into the transmitter.

The whole thing is a slight hassle to put together but you'll have a much more solid video experience and it'll go way way beyond the range of WiFi on either GoPro or FC-40.

Thanks for detailed reply. Food for thought if I want to install a video TX on the Phantom.
