Fatshark predator v2 image/screen size?

Is it only me or is using the predator v2 like watching a old style tv in a dark room? Is there any way to get closer to the image so it covers more of my field of view? Now its a lot of black and a small screen in the middle. Not really what I was hoping for, a bit of a let down...

I have the Dominators, and was quite impressed. It's not HD quality, but it is like sitting in the front row at
a movie theater.
I don't think you should have a lot of black, surrounding a small screen. Perhaps there is a problem with the
amplification in yours.
