Fatshark AttitudeSD VS dominator

Hi there,
Does anyone know if the Attitude SD is compatible with the Phantom? I see posts on the Dominator model..

Of course it is! (that's what I use)

it uses the 5.8ghz signal, so there's no interference with the 2.4ghs Phantom Tx.

all the Fatshark's are compatible with the Phantom

Thats what I use too. Don't forget the mini usb plug from http://www.readymaderc.com

I got 2 of them cause they are so cheap and hard to find anywhere else.

*Don't forget that you'll want to order the battery for it as well!

which are out of stock at hobbyking, but if you're handy with electrical, all you need is any kind of DC power from 7-13.0 volts (no more), to power it. It uses a standard barrel plug with positive on the inside. I used one of my extra Phantom batteries to power mine until my dedicated Fatshark battery arrived a few weeks later.

If you're serious about getting the best quality picture and distance, you'll definitely want to consider these as well:

Thanks Gizmo3000,
Already have my batteries and I ordered the antenna's as well!
What batteries did you get? I got a Turnigy, and had to buy an XT-60 to a barrel plug specifically for the fatsharks and the plug is glitchy(goes in and out) and I have to mess with the plug for a better connection.
And the fatshark battery is still on backorder EVERYWHERE.

In addition to all those great replies. Don't turn your goggles on without the antenna plugged in ! you will fry the board.

actually, it's the Tx that you need to have the antenna plugged into.
"WARNING: DO NOT POWER TRANSMITTER
WITHOUT ANTENNA ATTACHED. NO ANTENNA LOAD WILL CAUSE DESTROY TX RF AMPLIFIER – NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY"

which makes sense,. that sucker gets HOT even with the antenna connected.

the goggles are perfectly fine to run without an antenna (not that you'd really want to tho)., as it's just like turning on a TV without an antenna connected = just static.

Thanks Gizmo3000, I thought the same went for the goggles.

All the heat those transmitters make, and guys like UAV Advertising are installing 600mw units right next to the Naza.
That has got to be driving the Naza's sensors crazy, and no airflow to cool the transmitter.

Any "brain" becomes crazy with hotter environment, additional it could mealt anything inside because of the heat

Hey guys this is likely a dumb question because I am a noob with FPV's...but, if I get the fatshark predator and connect it to my hero3 silver gopro can I still take aerial photos with my gopro? Can I still record video? Or am I only able to see a live feed into the fatshark goggles? I'd love to be able to still take aerial photos and record in 1080p while using fpv.

Thanks for any and all help!

Yes, you can use it as FPV cam while filming or shooting pictures, When use it only for FPV be sure of disable auto turn off (stand by disabled). You don't like to get camera off while flying

I need to buy Fatshark Dominator

Do you know where have video Fatshark Dominator goggles on stock, preferably Europe?
