Firemaps, a wildfire defense and prevention company, is looking for reliable, experienced drone pilots to map homes/properties in NorCal. Specifically looking for people in the following counties:
- Sonoma / Napa / Marin
- San Mateo / San Jose / Santa Clara County
- Concord / Walnut Creek / East Bay Area

Job requirements:

• Must have FAA 107 license
• Must have a drone compatible with drone deploy or skydio
• Able to drive to homes/properties throughout NorCal
• Open to dedicating one day per week to Firemaps jobs
• Highly reliable

Job details: Map homes/properties using your drone, take photos of all exterior elements of the building with a phone camera (or drone camera), upload the photos to a Google Drive. We handle the rest!

Pay is $125/hour

Why gum up the works with someone that is not in the area. I meet or exceed most of the requirements listed and no need to waste their time or mine. If I live in one of the locations listed or willing to travel that far, then I would have just signed up. I see this as a good opportunity for all parties involved and impacted for future fire safety and survival. This type of program is needed in SoCal especially Santa Barbara, Orange, L.A. Riverside & San Bernardino County. My comment was more of support for the project than needing to sign up.
