Leave your drone at home
This weekend is one of Australia's biggest in sport.

Saturday's AFL grand final between the Adelaide Crows and the Richmond Tigers in Melbourne is sure to be a classic.

But, remember, for everyone's safety, the MCG precinct is a no drone zone.

A low-flying Virgin Australia plane is in action at the event and record crowds are expected.

On Sunday, the NRL final between the Melbourne Storm and the North Queensland Cowboys will take place at ANZ Stadium in Sydney.

A helicopter will deliver the NRL Trophy to the stadium, so for everyone's safety, this is also a no drone zone.

The Victoria Police Service and New South Wales Police will be on the look-out for any illegal drone activity at the respective venues.

So go to the game, support your team, but leave your drone at home!

Drone safety rules and our 'Can I Fly there' app available at casa.gov.au/drone

Let's hope that the Australian members on this forum 'play the game'. No doubt there will be some toss wad out there who is full of VB trying to make a name for himself. I hear they have banned the traditional BBQ outside the MCG so that will limit the boneheads pulling out their Mavics and having a crack.
