I'm heading to Amsterdam in a few days and I am planning on taking my p2 with me. Are there any restrictions non-local drone pilot should be aware of that is different from say where I'm from (Estonia). 150m height limit, not flying near airports, the usual common sense situations.

Any restrictions to flying in parks or other interesting areas?

Any tips on where fly in a good weather?

I doubt that there are a lot of places to fly in Amsterdam. + the airport is nearby.
Maybe some parks, but is that worth to bring the DJI?

The pretty central part is very bustling, and congested - it wouldn't be easy to find a place, but I could imagine some nice footage flying along a canal with the tall houses either side.
To be honest I wouldn't take it if this is your first visit.
Outside the city there are plenty of potential locations like the polder dykes with roads along, farming operations, and of course windmills.

I'm Dutch, and live about 20 minutes from Amsterdam.
Personally I would not fly in Amsterdam. Why? To crowded, and not enough space to fly.

Thanks for the replies. Sadly most of my trip would involve being in the city with little change of heading out of town. I'll skip the drone this time.

Thanks for the input.
