Hi All

I'm about to take a trip overseas and i want to take my Phantom 4 pro with me. Has anyone had directly taken their phantom with BA either as cabin or booked in language? and how was it?

thanks

Frazer

Hi

You can take it all on board as cabin baggage or you can also pack just the drone into the hold. batteries must also be in your carry on and at around 20-30% charged. I have never had any issue with BA

No-one will care about the drone but they will care about the batteries.
Click on the Lithium Batteries link here to see their policy: Banned and restricted items | Baggage essentials | British Airways

Don't worry about partially discharging - that's a forum myth.
You'll see that BA don't mention it and no-one at the airport will care about it either.

Just flew BA to Heathrow and disclosed the drone in my checked luggage. They requested I take my batteries out and bring them in my carry on. I did that and there were no problems or damage with the drone.
