Does the "LifeProof" Samsung 7 cause veideo loss?

My company just gave me a new Samsung Galaxy S7 so I bought the Life Proof protector, seems it's very thick and it's water proof. Wondering if it is causing my poor video reception. I also built new wind sails and maybe that would cause the poor signal as well.

Flying out on my normal path the video feed was pix elated not far at all away from the home point. Completely lost signal and video feed from a long distance 5,800 in which I normally have a strong signal. Just wondering if the phone protector is causing the issues or maybe I need new wind sail.

Anyone know who sells those now?

The video down link is sent to your phone over the usb cable from the RC. If you have wifi on the phone turned on it could definitely cause issues. I would recommend using airplane mode to turn off cell also when flying and using for monitor.
