Anyone know if Phantom 4 has HDMI video output support for goggles?

It appears to be the same as the P3P remote controller -- where you'll need to add on the module later. If you compare the specs with the Inspire 1 specs, you can see it makes no mention of it like the Inspire specs do.

Any indication anywhere of adding a module later on to support this just as the Phantom 3's module supported video output?

I'm only assuming DJI is not going to take away features. And, the remote controller appeared to be the same design.

Can anyone confirm that the HDMI output board is compatible with this new Phantom 4 controller?

DJI would be ticking off a LOT of current P3P owners if it doesn't offer an HDMI output module --- those of us who use Headplay goggles find the HDMI port to be absolutely vital to our FPV experience!

The remote controller looks the same on the back:

I agree. I have the Headplay HD's as well.

I just chatted with DJI. They said they have no announcements to make at this time regarding HDMI board output.

I purchased the hdmi board I plan to install in the p4 pro controller.

I hope it's better the 720.

Update this posting shortly.

Best regards,
Steve
