Does DJI charge for you before or after repairs?

They received my phantom a couple weeks ago and it is under the "repair in progress" now and says free of charge. Does this mean everything is under warranty or do they charge you after its repaired?

Looks like it's free of charge! I've paid each time in advance through paypal.

Yup that is a warrantied repair.
