Look for the wire tie, I do this on the opposite corners to keep the camera attached upon smacking the Earth "hard".

I've done this since I had my P2V+ (my first Phantom).

We do this and have yet to "need" it but it's there just in case.

Yes, many of us do it. Yours seems a little too tight for my liking however.

I do it and yes I can confirm....

After a 90 foot collision with the tree... It dropped like a rock... The camera broke off but the holding bracket was still there

I'd double-check that gimbal guard install
You mean for me? I have to admit it was a daunting process to put on... One slip and the camera ribbon cable would be snapped off. But it works extremely well. There is only one way to fit it on and it leaves a hairline space in front of the ribbon cable. Been flying with it for months and not a problem. In fact... The extra weight seems to have corrected my horizon tilt issue lol

Can you tell me where you got that brace from pls?
An awesome app called Aliexpress. Think it cost about £1 I get all my things from there, phone, drone parts, clothes, etc... Not a single problem. And so much cheaper then ebay
