Does adding the HDMI output module to the P4Pro controller void warranty?

There aren't a lot of posts about the HDMI output module and I think I've read most of them. Since you have to open up the controller, does that void the warranty? I've only seen one dealer even offering to install it (for $50) but don't know if that voids the warranty, too.

No, it will not void the warranty (even if you install it yourself). While it's not tough to install (see this video), I doubt DJI will cover any damage caused by installing it incorrectly.

Yeah, you or someone else posted that video elsewhere. I don't think I'd have any problem doing it. Since DJI SELLS the module, obviously someone has to install it, but I wouldn't have been amazed if a big company like DJI had a catch-22 policy or two. Thanks.

Is the HDMI module on a Inspire 1 remote the same as the P4P?

It is very easy to install. I did myself after watching install video. It took five minutes. Supper easy, just make sure you have the right tools. Good tweezers are handy.
