Do the FC40 sticks auto center

This may seem like an odd question but I am used to flying a Phantom 1.1.1 and am about to order an FC40.

I am curious if the sticks on the transmitter auto center like the ones on the 1.1.1 transmitter?

Hi Tommy, my FC40 is 6 to 7 weeks old now. It's the 5.8GHz Transmitter with 2.4GHz FC40 camera version (the latest I think). Yep the sticks center...

BTW You do know you can remove the centering, or make it stiffer on the Joy Sticks.
I used to do alot of RC scale Boating with a boat with a controlable pitch prop, and managed to track down a shop that sold the arm, Spring and adjusting screw as a kit
to make both sticks center on an old radio I had.

KimBrown, since I posted this I ran across a post somewhere that a spring kit was sold to make old transmitters auto center so I think you could probably remove the springs inside but don't know for sure without looking inside.

You can but till you get used to it I wouldn't recommend it

I prefer to have them auto center thanks. Only on my Diesel copters I prefer for them not to be.
