I was flying my phantom and when it came back the DJI Zenmuse H3-2D Gimbal was limp and sideways, like it lost its signal. The Camara was still working (sideways video). To get it to work I had to completely shut of everything and restart to get it to work. Is there any better way to get it working without restarting? Has anyone had that problem?

Mine is exactly the same. I had to land and shut it down, it's happened on every flight. I'm not sure how to fix it.

For what we pay for this you would think the manufactures would come up with a better solution for this problem.

I took the Phantom to a new location did a compass calibration, then launched and recovered it by hand thus avoiding hard landings and it only failed once. I went through 5 batteries as well, I'm satisfied that it's just a super fragile system. The results were fantastic. I hope this helps.
