Dji Phantom upgrade kit for Zenmuse VS PMU-V2

I have been watching a lot of videos on how to install the H2-D2 and it looks like there are two plans of attack.
The DJI phantom upgrade kit the replaces the main PCB or adding a NAZA PMU? Is one way better then the other? I also want to add the iOSD mini, but I have only seen that installed with the NAZA PMU. Will it also work with the upgrade kit?

Upgrade kit is lighter and tidier once installed. However, if you want to install an iOSD too, you will need a CAN port. The PMU-V2 would give you this but you can also mod the upgrade board to provide this too. Have a search for it.

Neither way is better than the other and all require soldering.
