DJI Phantom 4 - Emergency Mode

Hi guys!


The new DJI Phantom 4 gives a very good account of itself by amazing new features and equipment and I gotta say, I’m mightily impressed. Nonetheless, as I’ve read in this article DJI Phantom 4: Infos, Release und Preise, there’s also a new Emergency Mode which will stop flying Phantom 4 with just one tap. But: is this feature linked with the collision avoidance or how exactly does it work? Can you help me?

I don't quite understand why the pause button on the Phantom 4 is necessary, you can pause any phantom by just releasing the sticks.

It's for pausing when you have it in one of the IOC flight modes like the new tap & follow modes.

Becase in tap mode the drone is flying on it's and your hands are not controlling the sticks.

There is also the Tap to Fly mode to where you point at a location on the screen and it goes there. The emergency button would just interrupt the operation and it would stop and hover at that spot.
