I just purchased a new p3p. It's on it's way. I have experience flying with my p2v+ .
Any recommendations on the apps I have iOS phone.

First get experience with DJI Go App and then try 3rd party apps based on what more you look for.

Yes, it would be best to learn how to use DJI GO before trying anything else.
