DJI GO for P3S AND P3A

I have a P3 standard that I use my iPhone on and have a P3 advance on it's way that I will use a iPad on it.

Questions:

1) Can my son and I fly at the same time?
2) Is the DJI GO the same for both birds?
3) When I switch my iPhone from one bird to the other how does the DJI GO handle that?

Yes.

When you launch DJI GO, just select the proper Phantom.

Should I ever use the custom setting?

Yes! If you’re flying multiple drones in the same place, we recommend using the custom setting. This way, you’ll avoid interference caused by using the same channels.
So if you’re flying two Phantoms or a Phantom and an Inspire 1 in the same location, be sure to switch to the customer setting and select different channels on each device.
