DJI GO editor problem

I cannot get the editor to work. I'm trying to grab the edges of the yellow edit marker to change it's length, but the edges aren't moving. There is no way to change the clip length. Am I missing something?
I'm working with the footage that comes up automatically when I start the editor. Do I need to download anything from the P3P, and if so, how is that done?
I've tried to watch the tutorial, but my editor didn't respond the same way.

Hello,

Click the scissors first, then drag the size of the clip editor. One you have the section you want, click save. That will add that section to an editing area.
One thing I can say about the Go app is the UI is horrible!

It's not you, it is the terrible user interface. It is very poorly designed.
