DJI Go App recycles when switching to video recording mode

Hey guys, long time lurker. First real issue I've had with my P3P since I've had it a year.

When taking a picture or just switching from photo to video mode, The video feed freezes, then goes black, then shows the DJI logo and resets. During this time, the Gimbal shows disconnected for a few seconds.

I'm on latest firmware for everything. Tried a few different SD cards. Formatting. Reset the IMU. Calibrated Gimbal. Re-seated the gimbal ribbon cables.

The only coincidence I can think of is this happened shortly after the v1.10.90 firmware was updated jsut before Christmas time. Have not had any hard landings or crashes recently either.

I've reached out to DJI support via email already but it's only been a day. Really would like to sell this thing to a friend before I get the P4P but cannot in good faith with this issue happening.

Update Jan 9: DJI Chat support has recommended downgrading and re upgrading the firmware. Will post back the results.
