I know there has been other threads but they have now launched it for the UK

Has anyone took this offer?
Anyone made any claims?

The following still seems a cause of concern

3) Damage caused by flight under unsuitable flight conditions.
- High wind?
- Slight rain ?

4) Any repair fees resulting from or following water damage.
- So no flying over water? Unsure why given your paying for insurance and their product videos include flying over water. I could understand if you could not recover the quad

6) Deliberate losses. - What does this mean?

In the UK I know house insurance will cover the item. I also am insured with photoguard for accidental damage and have the 1 year with maplins for mechanical failure (non accidental damage). I dont feel like I need this insurance but I am very cautious when you start making claims how they suddenly try to get out of it.

Anyone in UK had any experience with insurance non commercial wise etc.

Join the UK Phantom 3 Facebook group and search on there as people have fully insured it for a much lower price than the DJI care.

If DJI enabled you to take the Phantom into an Apple Store and exchange it for a new one just like Apple care then it would be much more appealing.

Also just FYI DJI Care needs to be purchased at same time as Phantom.

Not what I what I read, but if I am wrong, then go for it!

You have 24 hours after powering the Phantom up for the first time and activating your DJI Go account to purchase DJI Care.
