I tried installing the DJI Assistant on my iMac and it said Safari would not let me open the app from unknown sources. Is there a work around?

If you have a magic mouse, right click then choose open or control click and choose open. Read the dialog and click open or OK.

Thanks, I did try that it. Still won't let me open it.

It could be that you haven't allowed your Mac to run third party apps. Try checking by going to System Preferences-Security & Privacy, on the General tab you should see "Allow apps downloaded from:", click on "anywhere" and see if that solves your problem.
