had one battery sent away because it was causing gimbal to do weird things. It's only 2-3 months old and after they revived it I had no communication for 10 days and then bang a pro forma invoic for £143 lol for a new battery.

The battery's under warranty surely.

Why is dji so difficult to deal with.

Was that a battery from when you had the crash?

Perhaps something happened to the inside of the battery when it went down.

Did they actually send you the invoice, or did you see it at their site while reviewing the progress?
Other users here have said that they see an invoice with prices for warranty repair, but DJI does not actually invoice them.

I was actually emailed a pro forma invoice.
