DJI 3 4K: Weak RC signal / signal lost

Hi guys,
Every time I've flown my DJI 3 4K, after a short distance, a message comes up saying 'Weak Remote Controller Signal', followed by message saying 'RC Signal lost'.
Any advise as to what I should do to fix this would be greatly appreciated, images attached.

Try a different device, my P3S doesn't work with a Galaxy S4 past 100ft but gets to 3000ft with an S6

Thanks for the advice, I've been using an iPad Air 2, but will try it on iPhone tomorrow
