I (probably many P3 pilots) prefer to use neck strap holding RC or lowering the weight for flying 20+ minutes, especially when I need to manage the app with one hand. Unfortunately, buckling to stock RC device holder makes the RC (including the weight of my iPad/iPhone) completely out of balance.
I found a simple DIY neck strap balancer with 3 zip ties (1x3mm + 2x2mm) only. I use 2mm zip ties tightening 3mm zip tie to the device holder. I can shift forward/backward the zip ties along the stand to make perfect balance regardless using my iPhone 6+ or iPad Air2.
The 3mm zip tie (5mm head width) fits well into the device holder gap to allow folding up the holder as usual. FYI, wider than 3mm zip tie might not fit well into the gap.
I like this simple DIY balancer.
