My post got deleted about "will this work"

I really want to move forward on an FPV upgrade to help me fly better when out fishing. I am a total noob to this stuff and don't want to waste any money on the wrong things.

I would prefer goggles, but not sure of the cost at this time.

I need a screen to view it

I need to transmit the signal from the camera to the screen

I need a camera

Throw in the OSD while I have everything open.

How do I power the screen and Rx?

Order this....

And this OSD:

To wire - you will need to solder the + and - from the OSD to the main board to get accurate voltage readings. Wiring of rest of OSD is as per the pic on the goodluckbuy site. Depending on the power requirements of the camera, i.e if it's 12v, you can take power via the OSD board or what I did was put JST connection on the aux wires coming down the leg and connect the video transmitter in to that (and my gimbal but don't think you are interested in that).

When OSD installed, dont screw the lid down just yet as there is a button on the board to select OSD layout. That's if you want the board hidden inside of course)

To wire the monitor and video receiver, just get a female balance lead plug and connect the red and black to the relevant pins and use a spare 11.1v lipo to power them (I velcro'd the battery to back of monitor. I need to shorted the monitor and video receiver wires yet but thats for another day.)

I like the FPV kit, but that OSD is in chinese and the one I listed is in English. Are you saying the chinese language one is better?

No, I think the one you linked to is better, however may take a bit more effort to install.

The one I linked to is very easy to install. VERY easy!

And then when it is installed all you need to do is press the button a few times and you end up with a screen which has 2 Chinese symbols on.

See pic attached, but basically bottom left is the lat / long symbol, doesn't bother me as it's not important! The other symbol is, I believe, a trip meter. It makes sense to be that anyway. Not yet flown with it to confirm as weather is bad.

Either way, it's simple, shows me pretty much all I need to know I.e home point, voltage, altitude, speed etc. Up to you what you want from it and how bothered you are by the Chinese symbols!
