If you check B4Ufly, the Bedminster NFZ has been around for a while. It is ridiculous.

For those of you who think somehow these are NEW occurrences you are badly mistaken. If you're wanting to play in the aviation community you learn about these and you plan around them to the best of your ability.

It's not a TRUMP issue it's a POTUS issue. Simply because millions of Americans now have toy aircraft more publicity is put on the POTUS NFZ but they have happened like this for a long time. Presidents before have played golf and other "social" trips and NFZ had been created just the same. Simply because our current POTUS likes to visit certain areas doesn't make this process new or enlarged by any stretch of the imagination.

Don't let this turn into any type of political debate (for or against either side) or it will be shut down and other "actions" will be taken.

That NFZ probably affects around 25 million people!

All because one guy wants to play golf and schmooze with his rich cronies.

I thought America fought a war of independence to get away from stuff like this ?!?

Seriously? Come on man take a step back and look at the big picture and don't make this about a specific POTUS.....

Well the interesting change was that since 9/11 the TFR was extended from when POTUS was actually traveling to staying with him the whole while he visits.

And IMHO that's how it should be. The POTUS should be protected 24/7 from every avenue of danger and attack.

At least you are not in Dallas. Since Bush moved here his route to the airport and a large area around his house is a NFZ. House is understandable but the route to the airport? I doubt he flys every day.

Yes, drone flight was a major issue for the colonials. That's why Washington camped at Morristown, so he could buzz the redcoats. Most don't know the first "Don't Tread on Me" flag had a no-fly zone emblem on it.

LMAO!

On topic question: did the DJI GEO system accurately pick up the appropriate zones and TFRs AND the accurate start and end times for each?

Drestin, thank you for trying to bring this back to the topic. Phantom Pilots isn't the most appropriate venue for political oriented comments. Those go best on Facebook.

Look into the future...do you see drones flying about? Now that they can drop things, (anything), from the sky?
Hmmm....let's enjoy things for now my fellow pilots!
