desktop USB constantly beeping

Please help! I can't update my Phantom from PC. Just as I plug it to my PC it starts to beep and doesn't seem to stop. I uninstalled and reinstalled Assistant 3.8 app but nothing changes. Still beeping like crazy. The app tells me to recycle over and over again.
RC Assistant doesn't react when the controller is plugged to my PC too.

You installed the USB drivers from the DJI site yeah ? Its this - "DJI WIN Driver Installer" if you are unsure.. in the downloads section.
*edit* and yeah like fugley said try another cord.

Its a good thing everything you buy comes with one these days, cause they do seem to have a habit of randomly dying for some reason... at least for me...
