Hello I'm about to order the 600mw immersion rc video transmitter for my phantom 2 and would like to know if there is a decent screen out there that is cheaper than the flysight black pearl one? If so is the price difference worth it for the quality difference? Thanks guys!

I bought a diversity monitor for $170 because I was tired of being tethered via cable to a monitor from my Fatshark goggles. The monitor I used with the Fatsharks was a 7-inch from readymaderc. Very clear and crisp image.

In hindsight I wish I'd gone with a Black Pearl as I'm not that happy with my diversity monitor. I haven't been able to compare my present monitor side-by-side with a Black Pearl but based on reports I've read, I'm guessing it would be better. But... that is just a guess.

I also bought a cheap DVR for my monitor and I'm not happy with it -- very low resolution, poor contrast.

What my experience tells me is to listen to that old cliche: you get what you pay for!

I'm perfectly happy with my RX-LCD5802, it's a 32ch display that should be compatible with any 5.8Ghz transmitter in either family (ImmersionRC or Boscam/Skytech)

I'm also quite happy with my Boscam LCD-5802 and Boscam TS832 Tx. Reading through some of these threads a lot of guys were having issues with the Immersion Tx and Black Pearl. Now a special version of the Black Pearl is available for use with Immersion. For that reason I think it's a good idea to use the same brand Tx and Rx to insure compatibility.

From some of the postings and YouTube comparisons the Black Pearl has better resolution (which you'll probably never use), but is not as bright as the 5802. In the comparisons they are close but the Boscam easier to see.

At the time the Boscam was only about $20 cheaper than the Black Pearl, however in the meantime the BP price has gone up and the Boscam has come down.

I paid $160 shipped from Bangood for mine. It's now down to $140, and you can also get it in white to match your Phanton Tx if you like. http://www.banggood.com/buy/5802.html

One can be had on Ebay for less than $125 http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R4 ... 02&_sop=15

They don't come with a charger so you'll have to buy that separately for $5.00-6.00.

Would that specific boscam monitor work with the current Immersion 600mv TX I have or no? Thanks!

I haven't personally done it but I've spoken with several folks on this forum indicating it works fine. The RX-LCD5802 is a 32 channel display and supports Boscam and ImmersionRC frequencies.

yes it will work on Band D, on frequencies that are bold.

Hi,

I have the Boscam RX LCD-5802 with FPVLR aerials, but I've noticed I get onscreen interference when the signal switches between RF-A and RF-B (the visible blue lights jump about).

Could that be a faulty RX?

Thanks
