DBS only 80M?

Hi Guys,

I installed my DBS on my Drone, and i just have a range of 80M in open field. Why?
My setup:
Port 1 : 5.8 Ghz
Port 2: 2.4 Ghz Wifi
Port 3: 2.4 Ghz Wifi

Should i reset the controller? And how?

Something is seriously wrong. Validate your internal connections internal in the remote. It sounds like the full signal is not going out your DBS antenna. Anyone know if AC would still get a signal is there was no connection to the internal 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz connections, e.g. they radiate a disbursed signal if nothing were connected to them.

Did you turn your controller on before you connected the new antenna? Sounds like you burnt out your RC.

True, they (other installers) are pretty explicit about not powering on the RC before having the DBS antenna connected.

Not sure that applies with the Phantoms. In most of the information I have ready I have not seen that mentioned. But whan building the H style 250 I heard that often.
