What type of data logger are you using? That info would help. Generically speaking, here are a few videos on YouBoob for various types of work within Dashware. FDNYFish seems to give some good explanations:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoicZxUb10U - getting data from a Flytrex into Dashware (I'm sure it's a similar process for other types of data loggers.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4_zU_FwRsI - speaks specifically to the data columns and gauge mapping.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUxRQ9O1dag - speaks to using the data logger, Dashware, and then a third application to play around with other video editing/composition desires.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S52TRAWR_-A - talks about editing data profiles.

I think those four above links are what got me started and answered (directly or indirectly) most of my questions. Hope these help.

Thanks folks :)
Think I have a basic feel of what to do now..
just one quesition... I start a new project.. and go into data file edit section... I can't seem to modify any of the column data... its all greyed out ? Is that normal ?
It does say that the top "flytrex read only".... Or do I not need to edit the column fields... seems like I should be able to ?
