Ok so I thought I would start here with a request for my business. I am looking for someone to help me (do the work for me and build for a nice payment) build a system that can remotely control a PTZ unit (like the Bescor MP101 or a custom built unit while transmitting video via HDMI out of a Canon HF G40 camcorder. For the zoom and record function on the camcorder, it is controlled via LANC protocol. Sorry if this is vague in description but maybe some of you who are MUCH smarter than me in this area can ask me the right questions. Here is a crude drawing of the setup. Is this even a possibility? Let's make this happen!!
