CS dimming when going to brightger area

It is in auto. Tried manual. Did not get any brighter. My Ipad 4 is much brighter then the CS. Any suggestions? Besides send it back.

I don't know anything about the CS but in most tablets, there's a setting that forces the screen to use max brightness at all times, rather than the battery-saving brightness that is relative to ambient light.

It does have the battery saving mode, and it is off. In manual I can turn the brightness up, in theory any way. Good suggestions Mark. My patience is getting very short. Happy New Year Mark.

I have high briteness 7.8” & it works well. A lot to learn on functions etc but I’m happy with mine so far. There is a setting where it will go to ambient lighting or you can go to full briteness. Just push of button. Go to settings to set up [emoji111]️[emoji256][emoji573]
