crash in water

I was watching and saying out loud... "oh, oh no, oh no, oh no, ohhhhh nooooooooo!"

Incredible indeed! When I saw that tree looming.... reminded me of my near experience over deep water, I managed to pull up in time.

I had FPV with PirateEye but it was so hot sweat was dripping in my eyes and as I was getting farther from the craft it got harder and harder to see relative positions..... and plouf! lesson learned. Using a mini-display now.

I had to stop the gopro, it was still recording.... file was corrupted and I had to recover it (lots on this online)

Pretty amazing that nothing was impacted, not the gimbal, not the controller, not the gopro....

I wonder how soon we will see a device like "air bag" which can be triggered to "save" the craft.... specially useful over the ocean!

There is an airbag device of sorts, but it has been shown to not work so well in deep water.
Supposedly they are working on a larger one. http://waterbuoy.net

I am using the Getterback on my P2. http://getterback.com
