Course lock? Do people use it?

I just found about about course lock. Seems pretty easy, but is it for noobs only? I never fly farther than LOS, but always think about those who do. I this instance, I would worry about losing FPV and confusion the orientation of my quad. Course lock would prevent this issue. Thoughts?

Actually the opposite. Its to allow you to keep your bird flying on a course line and spin the phantom around to do panning shots.

Seems like course lock is the way to go? I understand there is a need for both standard flight and course lock, but I stand by my first statement. I am experience to play around w course lock. Cheers

If your Phantom is out sight, course lock is not the way to bring it back. Home lock is.

I don't have FPV yet and I tend to walk around while filming so course lock gets a little confusing. Still I realize the benefits as mentioned above and have just begun playing with it myself.
