Couldn't use Litchi last 3 flights, Go worked perfectly...?

I prefer Litchi, but the last 3 flights this week I couldn't use it. First 2 gave me compass errors, moved plenty far away from metal, reset RC, AC and app, no luck. 3rd flight (today) I was at a new park and the map (gps) never "filled in" with the satellite view or map view. I didn't recalibrate the compass (and it didn't ask me to anyway).
In all 3 cases, I force quit Litchi (and all other apps), opened Go and was up and running right away. My experience was generally the opposite before: Go was unreliable and Litchi worked well.
I'll delete and reinstall the app. Anything else I could be missing?

Used an iPad Air 1 today (usually use iPhone 7+), and had litchi and go both running (not at the same time)
Again, Litchi gave me more problems: video quality was worse, it tried to auto land once (70% battery, only about 150' away), when my settings are RTH, which it did do correctly a few times in both apps.
Super strange. I still prefer Litchi, more features, even if not as polished visually as go.
