Controller confusion

Last weekend I spent a day strictly shooting stills with 3 stop bracketing. Yesterday I flew using DJI Go and switched to video on the tochscreen. Everytime I used the button on the controller to begin filming the app swiched back to still shot. If I used the touch screen to start and stop video there was no problem. Just the button on the controller. Any ideas?

Sounds like a controller problem. Do you know anyone in your area with that controller you could try?

Not a one. We have a small flying club but nobody flying DJI. Planes and DIY quads. I have a feeling it's a settings problem. I'll study it more this afternoon and post a solution if I find it. Thanks!
