Controller beeping after charging?

So last night I had me P4 controller hooked up to the charger. Later on I could hear a very faint beeping sound in the room and I tracked it down to the controller. The controller was off and on the charger but was done charging. Is this normal? Im new to this thing. This is the second time I have charged the thing and I don't remember it beeping like that the first time.

Little chirps? Mine too so have to assume normal. I didn't notice it first time around either!

Ha , I'm just charging mine for the second time since new , I will let you know if mine dose .

Oh, one thing. this time I did my first battery service by discharging to 8% per the healthy drones battery maintenance schedule

I have about 20 charges on mine and charged it yesterday with no chirps. I have all the latest firmware.
