I'm not taking many chances with my controller batteries. I don't want to be in a flight and have my controller batteries die.

I received that Watson charger and 4 lithium ion AA's when I ordered my Phantom and charge them almost as regularly as I do my Phantom battery.

How many flights should we expect from a fresh set of AA's?

I started with a new set of generic disposable AA's, and those lasted me at least 2 dozen flights before I replaced them with these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00410 ... UTF8&psc=1

I've done at least 15 flights on the Tenergy's after the first full charge, in addition to a couple of hours of bench/testing time with the remote switched on, and they're still going strong. I'll check their current level in a bit and let you know.

Wow. Sounds like I'm being a bit too conservative.
