Hi
I have a friend who has the P2V+ & all has been fine. Today we went out to fly together & all was well on setting up, his home point was recorded & he had the quick green flashes. He then went to calibrate his compass, which upon doing he had red lights flashing on the rear arms of his phantom. He moved locations & changed battery & tried again & has exactly the same issues.

Since going home he has done an advanced IMU calibration, but the problem still persists.

Anyone else come across this issue & a solution to it.

Many Thanks

Yes got the quick green flashes to indicate it, & app was showing 8 sats, he then did the compass dance & problem appeared.

After lots of messing around recalibrating everything it turned out to be something very stupid. It turns out he wears a smart watch that has magnets to hold it to its docking station, this comes very close to the compass while doing the calibration dance. Take watch off & there is no problem at all.

Just another reason not to calibrate the compass if not prompted or required.
