Batteries: How to keep warm in cold temperatures.
There are beautiful snow scene possibilities to be photographed in my Upstate New York area during the colder months. This is to explain how I keep the batteries warm for my P3A.
Start with an inexpensive 8 ¼w x6lg x 4h in. Lipo Safe Charging case. Cut up 3/4in. thick foam insulation to make a simple box. Hot melt glue together so it will fit inside the case. Add a loose top.
This holds three batteries snugly together at a reasonable temperature until needed. To help even more if traveling, wrap in a blanket and set on a warm vehicle seat. It works for me as I’ve flown in 18 to 20F degrees w/out problems.
